Mallard Ducks At Water's Edge




Mallard ducks enjoying a bright sunny day while waddling in warm water and getting their webbed feet wet - preening, looking for a quick meal, and resting. The male Mallard duck has distinct shimmering head plumage, with a dividing white neckband, which makes it one of the easiest and commonly known wild ducks to identify.
